Rachel Wilson sits at the rare intersection of national security and Wall Street-a combination that has made her one of the most credible and compelling voices in the world of cybersecurity. She spent 15 years at the National Security Agency, rising through the ranks to lead counterterrorism operations and serve as Chief of Operations in the United Kingdom during the 2012 London Olympics. Her work at the NSA demanded the highest levels of strategic judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to anticipate adversaries operating at the edge of capability.
In 2017, Wilson made the transition to the private sector, becoming Morgan Stanley’s first Head of Cybersecurity for Wealth Management. In this role, she was responsible for protecting the data and financial assets of millions of clients, navigating an ever-evolving threat landscape with the same analytical rigor and operational mindset she developed at the NSA. She quickly became a nationally recognized leader at the intersection of financial services and cybersecurity, known for translating intelligence-community frameworks into practical corporate strategy.
Wilson has been recognized by Morgan Stanley as a 2019 MAKERS Class honoree and named one of ThinkAdvisor’s Top Women in WealthTech in 2020. She serves on advisory boards for WATSCO Inc. and Amgen Inc., bringing her dual expertise to board-level governance conversations about digital risk, regulatory compliance, and enterprise security strategy at the highest levels of corporate America.
As a keynote speaker, Rachel Wilson provides authenticity and authority to the most complex conversations in cybersecurity today-translating the frameworks, threat models, and mindsets of the intelligence community into strategies that corporate leaders can actually act on. She holds degrees from Wellesley College and the University of Chicago and is based in New York City.
