Cassie Kozyrkov is the CEO of Kozyr and Google’s first-ever Chief Decision Scientist, a role she created and held from 2018 to 2023. During her nearly decade-long tenure at Google, she personally trained over 20,000 employees in data-driven decision-making and influenced more than 500 high-impact company initiatives.
As the founder of the field of Decision Intelligence, Cassie bridges the gap between data science, AI, and real-world business decisions. She advises C-suite leaders at organizations including Gucci, NASA, Spotify, Meta, Salesforce, HSBC, Home Depot, Vodafone, and GSK. She served a full term on the Innovation Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School’s executive MBA program.
Cassie has delivered over 1,200 hours on stage across 40+ countries and all seven continents, including the United Nations, World Economic Forum in Davos, Web Summit, and SXSW. Her writing has been published in Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Fast Company, WIRED, and the Wall Street Journal. She was featured on the cover of Forbes AI, has been named a LinkedIn Top Voice for six consecutive years, and was ranked the #1 AI writer on Medium.
She holds degrees in economics, mathematical statistics, psychology, and cognitive neuroscience from the University of Chicago, North Carolina State University, and Duke University. She began her undergraduate studies at age 15 at Nelson Mandela University. In 2024, Duke University recognized her as a Few-Glasson Distinguished Alumna.
